Read each teammate's sentence and vote on whether they used their vocab word correctly. Choosing Not sure means you abstain — if everyone abstains, that player forfeits their points. You cannot vote on your own sentence.
The group voted on word usage. AI now checks each one and overrules if the group got it wrong.

Edit the opening sentences for each default genre. These are used when an Educator/Admin picks a genre on the setup page.
Aggregated data across all completed sessions for your license. Identifies which words students are struggling with and shows individual performance gaps.
1. Enter your license key — Click Create Session on the home screen and enter your Gumroad license key. It saves to your browser so you only need to do this once per device.
2. Create a session — Go to Educator/Admin Setup and fill in:
• Session name (e.g. "Period 3 — Unit 4")
• Number of players per group (how many students per small group)
• Number of groups (how many groups in the class)
• Genre or Custom Topic for the story
• Vocabulary words (one per line, or with definitions)
3. Vocabulary word format — You can paste words in two formats:
• Simple: ephemeral
• Full: ephemeral | adj. | lasting for a very short time | The ephemeral beauty of the sunset.
4. Hit Start — The dashboard opens with a code for each group. Share each code with the students in that group. Students go to the game URL, click Join Game, enter their name and group code.
5. Save sessions — Use the Save button to store your vocab list and settings for reuse. Load them from Menu → Saved Sessions next time.
Starting a group — Once at least one student has joined a group, a Start ▶ button appears on that group's card. You can start each group independently as students arrive.
What students see — Each student gets a vocab word with its definition. They read the "Story So Far" section, then write one sentence continuing the story using their word correctly. They have 2 minutes per turn (timer can be turned off in Menu).
Voting — After all students in a group write, each student votes on whether their teammates used their words correctly. They can vote Yes, No, or Not Sure (abstain).
Review Submissions — When voting is complete, a Review Submissions → button appears on that group's card (highlighted in bold). Click it to open the review panel.
Ending a game early — Use the red End Game ■ button on any group card to force-end that group's game immediately.
Presenting stories — When all groups are done, a Present Stories to Class button appears. This opens a full-screen presentation view where you can walk through each group's completed story.
When a group finishes voting, their card on the Admin Dashboard shows ⚠ Needs Review. Click Review Submissions → to open the review panel for that group.
For each student you will see:
• Their vocab word and its definition
• Their sentence (with the word highlighted if used)
• How the group voted
• Two buttons: ✓ Correct or ✗ Incorrect — pre-selected to match the group vote
To override the group vote — simply click the opposite button before submitting. The system will note it as a Admin override.
If a student did not use their word in their sentence, it is automatically marked incorrect — no decision needed.
Click Submit Verdicts → when done. Scores are calculated immediately and students see their results.
The Team Score is the sum of all individual points. Maximum team points per turn = number of players (one point per correct word). Scores accumulate across all turns.
Your team builds a story together — one sentence at a time. Read the "Story so far" section and use your vocab word correctly and help your team earn as many points as possible.
Each round you get a vocab word. Write one sentence that continues the story and uses your word correctly. You have 2 minutes.
After everyone writes their sentence(s), vote on whether each teammate used their word correctly.
The team with the most points at the end wins. Your teacher will present all the stories to the class at the end.
